A Defender Restomod in a Garage in Southern France
Auré had never restored a car before. But after years spent building motorcycles, renovating homes, and chasing creative projects, he decided to take on a 1988 Land Rover Defender inside his garage in the south of France. What followed was a year-and-a-half process of learning bodywork, rebuilding mechanical systems, and modernizing the truck without stripping away its soul.
